The legend began at a Thursday night open mic at a club that didn’t last as long as the legendary performers that walked its boards. From Martin Lawrence, Dave Chappelle, Tommy Davidson, Danny Williams is the last undiscovered gem from a field of stellar comedians that make up the DC Comedy scene. From the first time I took the stage in my high school talent show, I have left them wanting more. There are comedians that set a standard of funny that some comedians use as the measure of funny they want to achieve to feel they can become stars in a business full of potential stars. Washington DC is known a one of those towns that produce an enormous amount of comedic talent.
